Abstract

The continued growth of the use of the internet for educational proposes, with  the so called web 2.0 in action, creates new interactive environments that starts to be an opportunity for schools, in every educational level, in order to enhance a virtual environment that is complementary to the traditional classroom and promotes “just in time, just for you” type of learning. This paper is a road map for the PhD project fullfilled with crossroads and challenges where Learning Objects (LO) and Learning Styles (LS) are considerer to be central to understand there inter-relations, as well as the educational and instructional models for designing, sequencing and presenting the LO adapted/adjusted to each type of student, not only to adapt learning but to humanize it as well. So, in this work, many questions stand as crucial: what is the relation between Learning Objects and Learning Styles? What students learning styles adapt better to Learning Objects? Does it increase the students achievements? Does it promote new learning?
